ORIGINAL ARTICLE: A conflict between two drivers, one living in Arnavutköy and one in Pera, escalated when the former hit the vehicle of his friend from back while stalled on a traffic light on a busy Istanbul main road this morning. Although the argument stopped, it was rekindled when the second driver idled again on the traffic light. The second driver, with a knife, attacked the first, injuring him. The victim's co-workers noticed the incident, and beat his attacker before calling police. The attacker is recovering from wounds at a hospital, while the victim is being treated in the Trakya University Medical Faculty Hospital. Police have detained the attacker pending trial.
