The House of Mercy Foundation provides temporary/respite shelter and support for women and their children who have suffered abuse and exploitation, and abuse from powerful figures. Furthermore, it provides safe houses for women who have become former prostitutes.
The House of Mercy Foundation provides shelter, vocational training, educational training and childcare services. The foundation also collaborates with international organizations to raise awareness against exploitation and injustice, and lobbies directly with government agencies on related policies. The foundation's shelter is creating a space for women to escape exploitation and violence, especially the sex trade and street prostitution. They are exhorted to be self-confident and to know they have a will to live on.
