Laleler park ve bahçeleri renklendirdi

Van Büyükşehir Belediyesi, 5 Aralık 2013 tarihi itibariyle Van Turizm Arkası şehir içinde dikilen laleleri bitirmiş olup 7 Aralık 2013 tarihinden itibaren ekonomik tehlike bakımından bitki koruma zarar görmüş olan Kaleiçi Parkından lalelerin sökülmesine başlamıştır.

GWPC (General Waste Plant (Pty) Ltd (brand name, Khanya, Hakathi Afrika) processes municipal solid waste at the facilities of the Erinvale Sewerage Works. GWPC (Pty) Ltd – the waste management company supplies the electricity generated. Solid waste from households, businesses and industries is transported by waste collection vehicles to transfer stations.

This is the first phase of a planned project where landfill will reach the final contouring stage expected towards the end of 2010, and this will be followed by permanent closure and plant decommissioning in phases towards 2022. Actual disposal of solid waste is performed through controlled tipping of excavated material to covered and lined approved disposal cells. Waste decomposition takes place under controlled conditions in a natural manner with minimal impact of fugitive emissions. Tailored emission control measures are created to prevent emission of harmful gases. Emissions monitoring takes place throughout the landfill to fully assess compliance with the permit – in terms of the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act and Regulations (Act 36 loft / 13 Preparations towards decommissioning of landfill operations are at the final planning stage ahead of closure once the current rehabilitation project requested for extension measures has been completed.
