One of the most beloved and unique characters in Suikoden 2 is a young, pink-haired, ambitious warrior named Arc. Arc and his fun-loving companion party members presents a wide variety of personalities that may make players want to sway toward or away from them, and some of the personalities of these beautiful warriors will clash or become love-stricken. This article will explore the personality of the various warrior party members and give a basic roadmap on how to proceed.
This is Part 1: Male Warriors.
Note:  It should be noted that the neutral reputation for characters in Suikoden 2 can be raised to maximum, and that unless otherwise noted, all characters start at 0 affinity, meaning that no statistic boosts apply. Neutral characters can also be swayed to the party, but their affinity can never exceed 50%. Characters who become members of your party can be developed via the Private Actions (PSB expanding on this concept for Suikoden 3) system. This system eventually allows the player to choose between characters and is similar to the Private Actions commonly used in Arthur Conan Doyle's mysteries.
Flying in the face of those who sacrifice friendship and honor to climb the ladder of success, Arc strives to reach his goals through honesty and sincerity. Willing to put his life at stake, he takes on a resolution to make both the Greater Good or the Greater Evil pay for the preservation of their power. Arc has a power to work his way through obstintles with his Chaotic and Loyal alignments. Players who choose Arc probably want a character that will stand for truth and right.
Driven down a twisted path where only the strong survive, Rilda strives for a strong sense of survival. To fulfill his missions, Rilda will ally himself with various characters: the corrupt and loyal Torasu, mercenary Camille, deadbeat hero Viktor; the list goes on. Rilda's path was forged when his much beloved cousin Sergiu was murdered and justice was never given. Rildas has a  wild and rowdy outer persona, but deep down, if his companions can earn his respect, Rilda can become a very reliable ally.  Players who want to control a multifaceted character, will want to pick Rilda.
~ The Three Faces of Rilda ~
A one who's devided into three people (heh, heh heh muahahaha heheh) divided in will, body and spirit. Deeds in the past have decided his path. Passed down bloodlines is his connection to the past. Sheffield was once an empire that spanned the lands. As his the World's fate hangs in the balance, he decides to go against the wishes of the Gods. By this act has he release the True Evil which he now face and try to save the world.  With 3 lie can lay down the Truth Sheffield take is time pick his Words wisely to avoid the Carrot and stick close by his friends like hero saviour Sir Bowman else it might be his at the end of the Infinity.  Playing as the Pope that leads a continent can take the Carrot means at many times Sheffield is thrown into the mix like the rest in the poor pitiful me situation like helping the daughter of Cyrille search for her missing father one thing to note about Sheffield is Sheffield is very straight forward 1 face even though he takes another face before coming to face to face with the main enemy The Three face Sheffield would lead the party to the end of the Infinity.
...it looks like a manic grin! The scar represented his parents who were fortunetellers. The woman,  Nita  went insane after a battle, a cauldron hit her in the head and left a wound in her forehead. The father was fighting the cauldron and was severely wounded. Nita fell in love with a man from a distant land and they had Ding. They said Ding was so special he looked just like the father. So hysterical and insane with love, Nita would often call the baby Dingcoco. Ding grew up loving his parents, he never knew his real name was Ding. Then one day his mother died and Ding's father sulked over her death. He grew ecstatic with his son. That's why when others call Ding "Dingdonger" he doesn't mind.  Ding's sword wasn't just given to him by his dad but was given to him by a mythical bird. It reminds him of his past and lost friends.
